What is Lit(eracy) Up?

A student-led initiative that connects high school leaders with communities through literacy. We're collecting books, building reading circles, and creating opportunities for younger students to fall in love with reading—while you develop real leadership experience.

What should I know before joining?

Who can join?

All high schoolers are welcome. Leadership positions are guaranteed for 11th and 12th grade students.

When do we meet?

The first virtual meeting will be in May 2026. The group will meet monthly and plan 4 events per year.

Do I need experience?

No! We're looking for passion and commitment. The group will be supported by the Program Advisor.
